Tuesday School
The Mount Vernon Church of Christ sponsors the Tuesday School program, which is designed to prepare three and four-year-old children for public school.
The church offers the school as a free service and runs from mid-September through the first of May on Tuesday mornings from 10am till 12pm.
Classes taught weekly cover basic Bible stories, numbers, the ABC's, snacks, crafts, and playtime. Each year also includes two field trips - one in October and one in February.
In order to attend Tuesday School, children
must meet the following requirements:
- They must be three years old by
September 1st.- They must be potty trained.
- They must be weaned from a pacifier.
Tuesday School has limited enrollment, so please contact the school to request enrollment information as soon as possible. You will be contacted in August regarding the status of your child and the availability of placement.
